It’s 2009 – my mother who was a self proclaimed shopaholic; discovered one of the best clothing stores that I can’t believe Id be writing about nearly 15 years later as a 30 year old woman. The Galleria mall in Houston Texas was thriving like never before; the air was just …. different back then – so was the fashion (of course the cost of living as well)…instead of therapy, Miss Sixty was her bi weekly “fix” … I believe she could’ve single handedly kept them in business.

Besides my mother I wonder… were there any other Miss Sixty fanatics during the early 2000s in Houston Texas ? In a way, I think Miss Sixty were ahead of their time. In a world of influencers, 1 out of 3 are constantly raving about “archive” items from the brand.

As of 2024 Frederic Saint-Parck became the new creative director but I wonder what’s next for this brand? Will they be coming back to the states ? Are runway shows on the roster in the near future?
